PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical inspecting instrument which achieves a higher durability in the normal use along with a less product price by enhancing the rigidity of the exterior panels disposed on the circumference of the frame of the working platform unit. SOLUTION: A roughly flat opposed surface 16 is formed on the internal surface of the body 15 of an exterior panel 10 disposed on the circumference of the frame 6 of the working platform unit 3 while a roughly rectangular frame shaped undercut part 17 smaller in size than the overall outline of the body 15 of the panel is made to stick out inward from the frame opposed surface 16 and an engaging part 26 is built in a joint part of the exterior panels 10 adjacent to each other with the undercut parts 17 combined together.
