OPTICAL DISK HAVING A NEW LAYOUT WHICH CAN CHANGE A POSITION OF A BCA MARK SHOWING INTRINSIC INFORMATION

PURPOSE: An optical disk is provided to form a BCA(Burst Cutting Area) mark showing intrinsic information around an edge of the optical disk or to form the BCA mark on the outermost side of the optical disk, thereby configuring a new layout. CONSTITUTION: BCA marks(30) are formed on the outermost side of an optical disk(32). The BCA marks(30) are recorded by a method of removing after burning a reflecting film of the optical disk(32) with a light source or by a method of forming crystalline or amorphous marks with a phase change of a phase conversion material. The BCA marks(30) are recorded on only one of lands or grooves.
