<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly access and acquire popular contents owned by individuals which are generated like spots and bursts without stress. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of communication terminals 3-6 connected to a packet communication network such as an IP network 1 constituted of repeaters such as a plurality of routers 11-22 and a plurality of links 31-54 transmit/receive contents in accordance with a P2P connection format. The communication terminals 5, 6 intending to acquire popular contents can collect constitutional information, route information, using band information, remaining band information, and the information of users having already acquired the contents from a center 2 through the connected communication network 1 and select a contents acquiring source and a contents acquiring route based on these informations.
