PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving skill monitoring device capable of calculating driving skill more accurately. SOLUTION: The driving skill monitoring device 1 calculating the driving skill of a driver driving a vehicle is provided with a driving load detecting device 11 and a road condition detecting means 12 detecting the traveling condition of the vehicle, a driver's condition detecting device 10 calculating the driver's concentration on driving operation, and a driving skill detecting device 14 calculating the driver's driving skill based on the travelling condition detected by the driving load detecting device 11 and the road condition detecting means 12 and the concentration calculated by the driver's condition detecting device 10.
