<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium which prevents bulging, cracking and peeling from being caused in an ink receiving layer, after the separation of the recording medium, which can bring about high-quality recorded matter, which prevents ink from running to the backside of the recording medium when printing is done in such a manner as to straddle a perforated line, which prevents a printer and the other recording media from being stained, and which has stable conveyability. <P>SOLUTION: In this recording medium which comprises a substrate and the ink receiving layer and which is provided with a perforated line capable of separating the recording medium into at least two pieces, the perforated line is provided from the ink receiving layer, and the depth of cut in the perforated line is set greater in dimension than the thickness of the ink receiving layer and smaller in dimension than the thickness of the recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
