A spindle motor is provided to prevent damage of an attractive magnet and a stator core by coupling a coupling protrusion of a clamp with a stopper through laser fusion without welding debris. A bearing housing(110) is vertically fixed and has a stopping frame(113) on an outer peripheral surface. A bearing(120) is installed on an inner peripheral surface of the bearing housing. A rotation axis(130) is rotatably supported to the bearing. A rotor(140) has a rotor yoke(141) which is coupled with an outer peripheral surface of the rotation axis and has a disk(50) at a top plate and a magnet(145) which is coupled with the rotor yoke. A stator(150) is fixed to an outer surface of the bearing housing to rotate the rotor. A clamp(160) is coupled with the rotor yoke to elastically support the disk of the rotor yoke and has a coupling protrusion passing through the top plate of the rotor yoke. One end of a stopper(175) is coupled with a coupling protrusion at a lower part of the top plate of the rotor yoke, and the other end thereof is stopped at the stopping frame. An attractive magnet(171) is adhered to the top plate of the rotor yoke to be attracted to the stator.
