An optical waveguide structure comprising a first optical waveguide having an A end and a B end, a second optical waveguide having a C end and a D end, a third optical waveguide having an E end and an F end, and a demultiplexing/multiplexing optical waveguide connecting at the first entry/exit thereof with the B end of the first optical waveguide and at the second entry/exit thereof with the C end of the second optical waveguide and with the E end of the third optical waveguide, characterized in that the lengths of the first optical waveguide and the demultiplexing/multiplexing optical waveguide have been determined such that a light intensity peak passes through an axis deviation position at the A end of the first optical waveguide and passes over the axis at the second entry/exit of the demultiplexing/multiplexing optical waveguide.
