<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display capable of suppressing reduction of a numerical aperture. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display is provided with an active matrix substrate 100 having a gate line 6, an auxiliary capacitance electrode 6a and a lower part light shielding film 2 provided at a TFT 20 so as to shielding light from a light source. The gate line 6 and the auxiliary capacitance electrode 6b are provided so as to be arranged along the end of the lower part light shielding film 2 and the liquid crystal display has a light shielding conductive part also in the thickness direction of the active matrix substrate 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
