<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator in order to manufacture a battery which has sufficient adhesiveness between an electrode and a separator and which is low in internal resistance and superior in high rate property, and provide a manufacturing method of the battery using the same. <P>SOLUTION: In this reactive polymer-carrying porous film for the separator, a cross-linkable polymer having a reactive group capable of reacting with an isocyanate group and a cationic polymerizable functional group in a plurality of pieces in a molecule, respectively, is made to react with polyfunctional isocyanate, and to be partly cross-linked. Furthermore, electrodes are laminated on the porous film, an electrode/porous film laminated body is obtained, and after this laminated body is assembled into a battery container, an electrolytic solution containing a cationic polymerization catalyst is injected into the battery container, and at least in the vicinity of the interface between the porous film and the electrode, at least one part of the reactive polymer is swollen or eluted into an electrolytic solution, and cationic-polymerized, at least one part of the electrolytic solution is gellated, and the porous film and the electrode are adhered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
