<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method of water to be treated containing organic materials and nitrogen compounds by which the water to be treated containing the organic materials and the nitrogen compounds can be quickly and efficiently treated, power consumption can be remarkably reduced and which can be realized with a comparatively small apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: When the water to be treated containing the organic materials and the nitrogen compounds is treated, at least a part of at least a pair of electrodes 14, 15 are immersed in the water to be treated containing the organic materials and the nitrogen compounds to perform an electrochemical treatment step for treating the nitrogen compounds in the water to be treated by an electrochemical procedure and a biological treatment step for biologically treating the nitrogen compounds in the water to be treated after the electrochemical treatment step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
