A hanger (10) for displaying a sheet-like object (1) folded in a pleated shape has a hanger pipe (11) from which the sheet-like object is hanged using hanger portions each provided on an upper end portion of each pleat piece of the sheet-like object, telescopic members (12, 20) axially pulled out from the hanger pipe (11), a rear engagement member (13) that is provided at the rear of the hanger pipe (11) and to which the rearmost hanger portion is engaged, and a front engagement member (25) that is provided at head portions of the telescopic members (12, 20) and to which the headmost hanger portion is engaged.
