PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten response characteristics of electrophoretic particles as to dispersion liquid for an electrophoresis display device and its manufacturing method, the electrophoresis display device using the electrophoresis dispersion liquid, and an electronic device provided with the electrophoresis display device. SOLUTION: The dispersion liquid is made by dispersing the electrophoretic particles 6 in a dispersion medium 5 having a hue different from the hue of the electrophoretic particles 6 and its volume resistivity is adjusted to be≥1×10<SP>7</SP>Ωcm and≤1×10<SP>10</SP>Ωcm.
