PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dermatological preparation for external use which is stabilized against the precipitation of the constituent tocopherol derivative being excellent in skin-lightening effect and thus can contain it stably. SOLUTION: The dermatological preparation for external use comprises the following ingredients (a) to (c): (a) a tocopherol derivative represented by formula (1) (wherein R is a residue of a saccharide selected from glucose and maltose), (b) dipropylene glycol, and (c) isostearic acid.
