<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the contents stored in a storage medium mountable on a main body, and to improve operability. <P>SOLUTION: A storage medium reproducing apparatus includes a main body 101, a lid 103 capable of opening/closing itself relative to the main body 101, an insertion/ejection opening 105 formed at the side of the main body 101 for inserting and ejecting an IC card 69 therethrough, a display 32 arranged on the rear side of the lid facing the main body for displaying information stored in the IC card 69, a switch 34 for detecting the closed state of the lid 103, and a controller 61 adapted to stop displaying on the display 32 when the closed state of the lid 103 is detected by the switch 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
