A wastewater treatment apparatus is provided to prevent microorganisms included in a contacting material from being frozen in winter and enable an operator to easily recognize an inner temperature of a reactor. A wastewater treatment apparatus(1) comprises a reactor(10), plural contacting materials(40), a water pipe(30), and a hot wire(20). The reactor is equipped with an inlet(11) and an outlet(12) from which water purified by microorganisms is discharged. The plurality of contacting materials having microorganisms are located inside the reactor. The hot wire is positioned between contacting materials. The water pipe in which water flows is located between contacting materials. |
