PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of recording a voice by a prescribed time before and after shutter timing so as to prevent the voice uttered by an object from being interrupted in the case of photographing a still picture. SOLUTION: The digital camera 100 is provided with a temporary storage section 107, a recording control section 108, and a recording medium 104. When the digital camera 100 photographs a still picture, the temporary storage section 107 temporarily stores voice data received before the shutter timing by an operation such as shutter half-depression. The recording control section 108 extracts part of the voice data by a prescribed time before and after the shutter timing among the voice data temporarily stored in the temporary storage section 107 by an operation of shutter full depression.
