PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program remote updating system for performing the operation verification of a new program just after performing program update processing for securing the reliability of the system, and for improving the flexibility of the verification processing. SOLUTION: A host 100(distribution computer) distributes a new module 305b for performing service providing processing, and a terminal 300 updates an old module 305a of a control program 305 into a new module 305b distributed by the host 100, and performs the operation verification processing of the updated new module 305b, and performs error management processing when any error is detected by the operation verification processing.
