HOT MATERIAL CONVEYOR

A hot material conveyor consisting of a means of conveyance which, along at least one part of the longitudinal extension thereof, is covered by means of a housing and which is connected to a material discharge element. Inlet devices are provided in the housing covering said means of conveyance in order to place water on the hot material located on said means of conveyance. The invention is characterized in that the inlet devices (17,23) are arranged exclusively in a section (19) of the means of conveyance which is located in a remote position from the material discharge element (1&) in the direction of conveyance and an outgoing suctioning device (20,21) is connected to the material discharge element (11) in order to suction off the water vapor produced by adding water.
