PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch control device for a vehicle which is operated by a small number of operation switches, and a switch control method for the vehicle. SOLUTION: Each operation switches 103-111 having a touch sensor 113 is provided on an air-conditioning operation panel 101. The touch state of the operation switches 103-111 is detected by the touch sensor 113. When the touched operation switches or the combination thereof are agreed with the touch state stored in a memory 31 in advance, the control content of an air-conditioner AC for vehicle assigned to the touch state is displayed in an information display area 122 of a display device 102. When at least one of the operation switches in the touched state is depressed, the control content of the air-conditioner AC for vehicle assigned to the touched state is performed.
