<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repair tool for a pipe that can repair without stopping the liquid conveyance and touching to the leaked liquid when the liquid is leaked out from a steel pipeline such as straight pipe, bent pipe part or the like due to the corrosion etc. <P>SOLUTION: A leakage part is sealed by a packing that is made to execute face contact from point contact so that the tightening power of the tightening means 4 concentrates the sealing function of the packing on the leakage part by using the first band member 2 of circular arc having a bigger curvature than that of the pipe A and a packing 6 around central part and the second band member 3 having the inner circumference face to conform with the outer circumference face of the pipe A. Thereby, the repair of leakage can be done easily and certainly which makes the repair cost reduce because the repair work can be done efficiently. Also the first band member and the second band member can be manufactured by using a commercially available steel pipe and slicing it in rounds, which can reduce the production cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
