PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful glove compartment for a vehicle capable of storing or placing a small article even with a relatively large size while preventing the movement of the stored or placed article. SOLUTION: The glove compartment is composed of a tray bottom 37 storing or placing a small article, front/rear side walls 38, 39 and left/right side walls 42, 43 surrounding the tray bottom 37, an extended wall surface 44 extended from the rear one among the side walls 38, 39 and 42, 43, and a partition member 35 swingably attached to the extended wall surface 44 to partition the tray bottom 37 into a plurality of areas, thereby achieving the glove compartment with high usability.
