COMPOSITE POROUS BODY, MEMBER FOR GAS DIFFUSION LAYER, CELL MEMBER, AND THEIR MANUFACTURING METHODS

Composite porous bodies including a sheet-shaped conductive porous body having a three-dimensional network structure. A conductive porous body of a sheet shape having a three-dimensional network structure can be widely used for filters, heat-dissipating members, water-absorbing members, and members for gas-diffusion layer of a solid polymer fuel cell, and is installed in various devices. However such conductive porous bodies generally have disadvantages such as a weak strength and easy deformability. Therefore conventionally there have been problems such as the one that it is difficult to incorporate it in a device. The invention has solved the above problem by providing a composite porous body where the above conductive porous body and a resin portion extending parallel to the conductive porous body are integrated into one piece.
