PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack having a pack case capable of separating a battery room from a electric circuit room and constituted by a simple coupling means capable of assembling in a short time, and to provide a method of manufacturing the pack case in a miniaturized shape. SOLUTION: The battery room 9 housing a plurality of unit cells 8 and the electric circuit room 11 housing a circuit board 10 on which an electric circuit for controlling charge/discharge of each unit cell 8 is mounted are installed in the pack case 1 formed by joining a lower case 2 and an upper case 3 both made of synthetic resin. A partition 12 separating the battery room 9 from the electric circuit room 11 is integrally formed in the upper case 3 or the lower case 2. The lower case 2 and the upper case 3 are joined with a locking claw 27 projecting to the battery room 9 side and installed in either one of connecting pieces 23A, 23B superimposed on partition 12 and the tip part of the partition 12 and a locking recess 24 installed in the other of the connecting pieces 23A, 23B.
