PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for performing heavy rolling of a slender material to be worked such as a crankshaft and a cam shaft. SOLUTION: This apparatus has the upper and lower tools. At least one of the upper and lower tools has a tool housing provided with a shaft which is extended inside the tool. A roller is arranged around the shaft and this roller is rotatably supported on the shaft.
