PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastisol excellent in storage stability of sol viscosity, free from bleeding of a plasticizer and capable of providing a formed product excellent in mechanical properties, and acrylic polymer particles excellent in dispersibility into a plasticizer and to provide a method for producing the acrylic polymer particles. SOLUTION: The acrylic polymer particles have a core/shell structure. In the acrylic polymer particles, the content of a methyl methacrylate unit in the total polymer particles is 40-80 wt.% and the content of a monomer unit having an acid radical is 0.1-5 wt.%, the content of a monomer unit copolymerizable with these monomers is 15-59.9 wt.% and the acid radical is neutralized so that pH obtained when polymer particles are re-dispersed in water becomes 6.0-7.5 and the content of the methyl methacrylate in a shell polymer is 30-99.5 wt.% and the content of monomer unit having the acid radical is 0.5-6 wt.% and the content of monomer unit copolymerizable with these monomers is≤69.5 wt.%. The shell polymer is obtained by polymerizing a monomer for the shell polymer in the presence of a core polymer and a chain-transfer agent. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
