PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curl detection device capable of detecting direction of curl and curl amount of a transfer paper sheet. SOLUTION: The curl detection device for the transfer paper sheet on which image is formed by an electrophotography method is provided with a first paper detection sensor and a second paper detection sensor for detecting the transfer paper sheet moving in a predetermined conveyance passage in an image formation device. Direction of curl and curl amount of the transfer paper sheet to be conveyed are detected by ON-OFF timing of paper detection in the first and second paper detection sensors.
