PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic waste treatment apparatus improved in transportability by preventing remaining of the organic waste. SOLUTION: This organic waste treatment apparatus is equipped with an organic waste storing chamber 2 storing organic waste (garbage, chips, etc.), and a fermentation decomposition chamber 4 containing an organic waste treatment material 3 like a compost with microorganisms inhabiting therein. A lower part of the side face of the storing chamber 2 is connected to a lower part of the side face of the decomposition chamber 4 with a feeding cylinder (a joint part)8; a screw 5 feeding the organic waste 1 to the decomposition chamber 4 is insertedly provided in the cylinder 8 at the lower part in the storing chamber 2; the lower half of the storing chamber 2 is composed of tilted curved faces with the width reduced toward the lower part.
