<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate-like body suitable for constituting a holding member of an object to be ground hardly adhering to an upper plate of a grinding device for reducing the number of defect of the object to be ground due to a line trouble in a grinding work. <P>SOLUTION: When a sheet of thermosetting-resin impregnated sheet fiber substrate or a plurality of the overlapped sheets are placed between a thermoplastic resin releasing film and molded between templates by applying heat and pressure, the thickness of the thermoplastic resin releasing film is 0.04 mm to 0.1 mm, and a woven fabric is arranged between the releasing film and the templates. Then, irregularities of the weave pattern of the woven fabric are printed on the surface of the molded plate-like body.
