PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminance sensor switch having a hysteresis characteristic to the relation between ON/OFF of an output switch element and a peripheral illuminance. SOLUTION: The sensitivity for the peripheral illuminance is high since the switching element 2 is under an ON-condition and since a photodiode 1n of high photocurrent is effective, just before the MOSFET 3 is switched from OFF to ON, and the peripheral illuminance is low when the MOSFET 3 is switched from ON to OFF. The sensitivity for the peripheral illuminance is low since the switch element 2 is OFF and since a photodiode 41 of low photocurrent is effective, just before the MOSFET 3 is switched from ON to OFF, and the peripheral illuminance is high when the MOSFET 3 is switched from ON to OFF.
