PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extremely easily fix a clip to a name plate, be favorably retained to a breast pocket, be prevented from its falling off and eliminate a risk in the conventional clip used by attaching a safety clip to an acrylic resin name plate or fixing a U-shape clip to the name plate. SOLUTION: This J-shaped safety clip is so formed that a clip body 1 is formed into a U-shaped flat plate using a material such as steel and reinforced resin, and one of ends in its opening side is formed with a tilt angle, which is slightly downward inclined in the direction of the bottom so as to form a hook shaped clip part 3 curved from the lower direction to the plane direction. In the other hand, the other end part in the opening side is extended at a slightly downward inclination and projected slightly longer than the tip of the hook shaped clip part to form a linear end part 4, thus being insertable in the plate.
