Human secreted protein that shares sequence homology with the murine Sperizin protein

The present invention relates to a human secreted protein that displays some sequence homology with the murine sperizin protein. The invention also relates to isolated nucleic acids containing the coding regions of the gene encoding said protein. Also provided are vectors, host cells, antibodies, and recombinant methods for producing said human secreted protein. The invention further relates to diagnostic and therapeutic methods useful for diagnosing and treating disease, disorders, and/or conditions related to this novel human secreted protein, in particular those of the reproductive system.
