PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus capable of preventing an adhesive for adhering an optical filter from being stuck to a light receiving section of an imaging device thereby avoiding the adhesive from disturbing accurate positioning of the imaging device. SOLUTION: The imaging device 2 having the light receiving section 2a and a holder 3 holding the imaging device are mounted on a circuit board. An optical filter 4 is adhered to the holder 3 at a position opposite to the light receiving section 2a. The optical filter 4 is a rectangle greater than the outer size of the light receiving section 2a and placed in a direction different from the direction of the light receiving section 2a by 45 degrees in a direction orthogonal to the optical axis of the light receiving section 2a. Then the adhesive 5 is coated to the corners of the filter 4 opposed to each other and the filter 4 is adhered to recesses 3f being adhered parts of the holder 3. Since the adhered parts of the optical filter 4 are located to the outside of the positions opposed to the imaging device 2, even if the adhesive 5 is much applied, the adhesive 5 does not flow down on the light receiving section 2a.
