PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a driving force distribution apparatus for a vehicle capable of realizing downsizing/light weight of a driving system. SOLUTION: The control device of a driving force distribution apparatus for a vehicle includes a transmission torque determination means 104 (SA8) for determining whether or not transmission torque of a predetermined value or more is transmitted by operation of a coupling 24; and a transmission torque control means 114 (SA10 to SA12) for transmitting it such that the transmission torque becomes a value less than a predetermined value when it is determined that the transmission torque of a predetermined or more is transmitted by the transmission torque determination means 104. Therefore, it can be controlled such that excess torque is not transmitted to the driving system when the coupling 24 is quickly engaged in the state that a rotation speed ne of an engine is relatively high at the start of the vehicle.
