The invention relates to means for cleaning optical heads used for reading compact disc data, in particular to optical discs for cleaning said heads. The inventive device for cleaning an optical head for reading compact-disc data comprises a compact disc (2) provided with at least one projection (4). A through channel is embodied near said projection (4) which is arranged on an annular element (5) associated with the disc (2). Said projection can be embodied in the form of a ladle-like element. The through channel can be embodied in the form of a confuser. Said compact disc can be provided with an additional track with a recorded program for controlling the optical head motion and the disc rotation velocity. The aim of said invention is to increase the efficiency of the optical head cleaning, prevent the unbalance and to increase the mechanical strength thereof.
