<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device capable of improving work efficiency for supplying an operating fluid to a hydraulic circuit and extracting air, and capable of reducing cost. <P>SOLUTION: A steering assist force is given by hydraulic pressure selectively supplied and discharged to hydraulic chambers 2a and 2b of a hydraulic power cylinder 2 from a gear pump 10 through communication passages 8 and 9 in correspondence with an operation force. A normally-open-type solenoid valve 4 is provided in a by-pass passage 11 communicating the hydraulic chambers. At assembling the device, the operating fluid in a reserver tank 15 is injected from the solenoid valve 4 in a normally opened state, and circulated in the hydraulic circuit 3, and the air in the hydraulic circuit is discharged to the outside from the solenoid valve by a circulation function of the operating fluid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
