PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a sound insulating fence superior in sound insulating performance in the fence for arranging panels on columns erected at a proper interval on the ground surface. SOLUTION: This sound insulating fence is composed of a pair of plate materials for arranging these panels at a proper interval, horizontal sash bars arranged in upper-lower edge parts of these plate materials, and a divided section for dividing a space between the pair of plate materials into a plurality. The plate materials are composed of a base body composed of a synthetic resin, and metallic plates arranged on the obverse-reverse of this base body, The space formed of the plate materials and the horizontal sash bars are divided into a plurality of hollow chambers. The sound insulating performance is superior by connecting the pair of plate materials only in a proper position by the divided section.
