PURPOSE: A method for automatically controlling a catalyst melting stroke of a detergent-free washing machine is provided to automatically melt a catalyst in the detergent-free washing machine without directly melting the catalyst by a user. CONSTITUTION: A method for automatically controlling a catalyst melting stroke of a detergent-free washing machine comprises steps of applying power to the detergent-free washing machine(110); inspecting upper and lower floating-type switches(120); melting a catalyst by operating such a turbulence-producing unit as an underwater pump installed in a water tank if all of the upper and lower floating-type switches are turned on(130a,140); and discharging the water, in which the catalyst is melted by the turbulence-producing unit, to a wash water production device(150). The water, in which the catalyst is melted, is discharged to the wash water production device without operating the turbulence-producing unit if the upper floating-type switch is turned off and the lower floating-type switch is turned on(130b). If all of the upper and lower floating-type switches are turned off(130c), a catalyst throwing demand message is displayed(132) and the catalyst is thrown into the water tank(134) and then water is supplied to the water tank(136). Water is continuously supplied if the water level of the water tank is not a full level of water or water supply is interrupted if the water level of the water tank is the full level of water(138) and then the catalyst is melted in the water by operating the turbulence-producing unit and the water is discharged to the wash water production device. |
