<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing for pipe joints capable of pulling out/pushing in an image carrier without damaging it, and also capable of keeping a gap between the image carrier and a transfer separation device constant, for preventing defective transfer of a sheet. <P>SOLUTION: An elastic tubular packing body 40 provided with an V-shaped groove 50 on its outer periphery is pinched and deformed between a joint body 10 and a clamping nut 20, to hold pipe body 70 inserted in the joint body 10.
