<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly convenient safety device for a steering lock apparatus capable of preventing an erroneous operation and certainly operating an engine. <P>SOLUTION: The safety device for a steering lock apparatus is provided with a key cylinder 9 having a projection part 9a projectedly provided toward a pressing-in direction of a key 3 on an outer peripheral part and turnably arranged in a housing 6 by the key 3; an urging member 15 for turning the key cylinder 9 from an on-position to a start position and elastically returning and turning it to the on-position; an ignition switch 18 switched interlockingly with key cylinder 9; and a fitting groove 6b making the projection part 9a movable to the pressing-in direction of the key 3 on the housing 6 at at least start position. An abutting part 6c for inhibiting the returning and turning of the key cylinder 9 at the pressing-in position of the key 3 at a predetermined range is provided on the fitting groove 6b until the above key cylinder 9 is elastically returned and turned from the start position to the on-position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
