PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube capable of sufficiently suppressing mistaken landing of electron beam. SOLUTION: Plate-shape spring fitting plates 13a, 13b are fitted on the outside wall face in the vicinity of the central part in the longitudinal direction of the long side frames 11a, 11b. Holes 17a, 17b are installed on the spring fitting plates 13a, 13b.
