<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a secondary exciting device for a wound type induction machine which is restricted so that the slip frequency will not exceed the output voltage capability of a frequency converter, even if a system frequency fluctuates. <P>SOLUTION: The secondary exciting device for the wound type induction machine is so composed that a primary winding is connected to a power system and AC excitation is executed to a secondary winding by the frequency converter at an arbitrary frequency. A frequency detector, which detects the system frequency, is connected to the primary side of the wound type induction machine. The system frequency, which is detected by the frequency detector, is added to a slip frequency command upper limit value and a slip frequency command lower limit value of a rotational speed limiter, respectively. Accordingly, the fluctuations in the system frequency are added. The secondary exciting device for the wound type induction machine, in which the slip frequency will not deviate from a specified value even if the system frequency fluctuates, is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
