<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable image display device capable of performing start and end of display of display contents at adequate timing and reducing the electric power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device 1 is equipped with a communication section 13 which receives a communication signal, a display section 11 which displays an image, an image forming section 19 which forms an image signal relating to the display to be displayed in the display section 11, a display driving section 12 which drives the display section 11 based on the image signal in such a manner that the image is displayed, an electric power adjusting section 17 which adjusts the electric power to be supplied to the display section 11 and the display driving section 12, and a control section 23 which displays the image on the display section 11 according to first data relating to the content to be displayed on the display section 11 when the first data and second data for controlling the electric power adjusting section 17 are received in the communication section 13 and curtails or stops the electric power supplied to that electric power adjusting section 17 based on the second data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
