<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate-like member holding device which copes with the holding of plate-like members of different sizes and is provided with a less dead space. <P>SOLUTION: The plate-like member holding device is provided with a main body 1 equipped with a receiving tool 15, and a pressing tool 21 which approaches or recedes freely from the receiving tool 15. A plate-like member A is held between the receiving tool 15 and the pressing tool 21. The pressing tool 21 is composed of a fixing member 22 connected to the main body 1, and a bearing member 32 connected to the fixing member 22. The fixing member 22 is so configured as to be bent by changing the connecting positions B to the main body 1, and to enable the connecting position C of the bearing member 32 to approach or recede from the receiving tool 15. An approaching motion is adjusted by controlling the amount of bend, whereby the plate-like member holding device is capable of coping with holding of the plate-like members of various sizes and dealing with a use where the plate-like members of various sizes are frequently switched from one to the other. A large space is not required for the approaching or receding motion of the bearing member, and the pressing tool can be provided with less dead space to the irreducible minimum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
