PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize an image quality even for recording media of different kinds.

SOLUTION: An image recording method is provided, wherein an image is formed by discharging an ultraviolet curing type ink onto the recording medium by an inkjet recording head, and then the ink impacting on the recording medium is hardened and fixed by irradiating ultraviolet rays. In the image recording method, a discharging condition of the recording head at the time of image formation is selected in accordance with the kind of the used recording medium among a plurality of discharging conditions stored for each kind of the recording medium.
