PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device superior in a steering feeling, and having high performance by excellently maintaining sliding lubrication between a resin member and a metallic member over a long period. SOLUTION: This electric power steering device transmits auxiliary output by an electric motor to a vehicular steering mechanism via a speed reduction gear mechanism, and is characterized in that a driven gear of the speed reduction gear mechanism is formed by integrally arranging a resin part composed of a resin composition, and forming a gear tooth on an outer peripheral surface, on the outer periphery of a metallic core pipe, and the speed reduction gear mechanism is lubricated by a grease composition including wax of introducing a group having polarity into a molecular structure.
