<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraocular lens which makes a curvature on each surface as small (gradual) as possible while having an optical system with telescopic effects. <P>SOLUTION: The intraocular lens includes an optical part with refractive power and a retaining means for retaining the optical part in the interior of an eye. The optical part comprises a first optical member with prescribed refractive power and a second optical member which is formed to embed the first optical member and is made of a biocompatible material.
