<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for recording and/or reproducing, capable of accurately obtaining address information and disk rotary-control information even in a narrow track pitch. <P>SOLUTION: An optical recording medium has wobbling grooves, and pitches formed at predetermined intervals in an area between the grooves. The rotation of the optical recording medium is controlled based on wobbling signals detected from the grooves of the optical recording medium, and the position of a recording signal on the optical recording medium is detected based on a pit signal detected from a pit, and information is recorded/reproduced. The recording/reproducing device is provided with the optical recording medium, a detecting means for detecting the wobbling signals from the grooves of the optical recording medium, and the detecting means for detecting the pit signal from the pit of the optical recording medium.
