PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the door mechanism of a merchandise output port in an automatic vending machine capable of having merchandise easily taken out, and quickly closing a door plate after the merchandise is taken out. SOLUTION: This door mechanism of a merchandise output port is configured to change rotational resistance to be applied to a door plate 20 according to the angle of opening of the door plate 20, so that the closing speed of the door plate 20 rotating in its closing direction can be decreased only by a predetermined angle from an open angle when the door plate is made full open, and that the closing speed of the door plate 20 can be increased at any other open angle. The door plate 20 can be opened by one hand, and merchandise can be taken out by the other hand while the door plate 20 is open, and the door plate 20 can be closed while the open state of the merchandise output port 10 is prevented from being made wastefully long.
