PURPOSE: A control panel assembly for an air conditioning apparatus is provided to absorb shock when vehicles crash, thereby minimizing damage of passengers. CONSTITUTION: A housing(120) is arranged at an inside of a front panel(110) of a vehicle, having a plurality of bosses(121). A printed circuit board(130) is installed inside the housing, having joining holes corresponding to the plurality of bosses of the housing. A knob(132) is combined with a front end of a knob shaft(131) installed at the printed circuit board, protruded to the outside of the front panel. A shock absorbing element absorbs shock by moving the printed circuit board to the bosses of the housing to make the knob enter the front panel when the shock is applied to the knobs. The shock absorbing element is formed of a tapered part(122) formed at the boss, and a bush(124) formed at the tapered part.
