PURPOSE: To improve treatment and dewatering efficiencies of sludge and reduce feeding amount of coagulant by injecting the sludge into dewaterer as maintaining a certain concentration suitable for dewater even in case that concentration of settled sludge is changed. CONSTITUTION: In a sludge thickening system(100) comprising a sedimentation basin(111), a sludge storage tank(112), a coagulant dissolution tank(114), a coagulation mixing tank(113), a dewaterer(115), first transfer pipe(131) extended between the sedimentation basin and the sludge storage tank, second transfer pipe(132) extended between the sludge storage tank and the coagulation mixing tank, second pump and first thickening gauge(157) arranged in the middle of the second transfer pipe, fourth transfer pipe(134) extended between the coagulant dissolution tank and the coagulation mixing tank, fifth transfer pipe(135) extended between the coagulation mixing tank and the dewaterer, and second thickening gauge(175) arranged in the middle of the second transfer pipe, the sludge thickening system is characterized in that an apparatus(160) for automatically discharging separated liquid is installed in the coagulation mixing tank to form floc by stirring and mixing coagulant and sludge transferred to the coagulation mixing tank from the sludge storage tank and the coagulant dissolution tank, discharge the formed floc to the dewaterer side and discharge the water excluded floc to the outside by excluding water from coagulated floc. |
